French Vanilla Roast

There’s nothing better than locating the birds and being prepared as they break cover. Pointing them is one thing. But getting them on the wing and in the bag takes practice, skill and teamwork. Not to mention great Gundogs. That’s why we chose French Vanilla for this roast. All Gundog enthusiasts picture the sequence of dogs on point, flushers putting birds in the air, a covey rise, a smooth mount and swing, a primer or two detonating and the same number of winged-quarry falling cleanly to the ground. But we also know it doesn’t happen like this every time. What we can count on is the familiar, warm feeling followed by the flavors of Hazelnut and French Vanilla. Everyone knows it and to most it’s the picture of perfection. And while we’ll never stop coming up with great roasts, this is definitely a fan-favorite.
